My red maple tree has been especially beautiful this year and it holds onto its leaves longer than any other tree in the yard.  But today we had an early snow and I am afraid the leaves will soon start to fall.  Thanks for another gorgeous show my brave little tree.

High Summer in the Midwest can be incredibly beautiful.  Visibility is over 10 miles in this extremely flat region and the ceiling of the sky seems endless.  Down below, the corn fields go on as far as the eye can see.
